A new Bootcamp from Katie Fusco (our local Health & wellness Professional) has come to Ninfield recreation ground for LADIES ONLY! It will help with stamina, strength & self esteem. All ages and abilities are welcome every Saturday, 830am-930am. Katie is also running a group of T’ai Chi & Yoga classes for tranquility, calm & vitality every Tuesday 930am-1030am & Wednesday 700-800pm, along with doing 1:1 Motivational Personal Training by appointment. Hooe Sports Football Club play this Saturday, September 29 is the local derby - Hooe against Ninfield in the ESFL Premier Division! Kick off is 3pm at Hooe recreation ground. You can also track the club’s progress online: www.pitchero.com/clubs/hooesportsfc.

Ninfield Bonfire Society are holding their first Jumble Sale tomorrow, September 29 at the Memorial Hall, Ninfield. Doors open at 2.00pm. Ninfield Methodist Church invite you to it’s special service on Back to Church Sunday, September 30, 2.30pm with Revd. Ian Wales.Back to Church Sunday is simple, its about inviting a friend back to church. Most of us know people who used to go to church but for a variety of reasons they have stopped going. Feedback suggests that many of these people would be open to an invitation to return… “I’ve been thinking about coming back to church….”. All visitors & friends are very welcome.

Ninfield Flower Group are meeting on October 1, 7.30pm at the Memorial Hall. This month they welcome Julie Brownlee with her demonstration entitled “Isn’t it Lovely”. All flowers demonstrated will be raffled at the end of the evening. Non members are welcome for a charge of £3.00 which includes refreshments.

Ninfield Methodist Church hold a ‘Wesley Guild’ on Wednesday October 3, 2.30pm. This is a relaxed and informal fortnightly meeting of fellowship. This meeting will be entitled ‘Musical Memories’ with Norman McCubbin. All are warmly welcome to attend.

Ninfield Carnival AGM. Please join the carnival committee on Wednesday October 10 at 8pm, in the Workingmen’s Club for their annual AGM. The Hooe Open Group are next meeting on Friday October 12 when there will be a demonstration, sponsored by the marketing department for Gruyere Cheese, where you will be able to taste and discover what this exceptional Swiss cheese can offer. If you are interested in joining the ladies of the Hooe Open Group, just turn up at 2.30pm at Hooe Village Hall on the second Friday of any month, where you will find a very welcoming group of ladies, together with their social organiser, Edna Wallison. Ninfield Local History Group are meeting on Thursday October 18 with a guest from Bexhill Museum will be talking about The Brassey Family. Everyone is welcome to the meetings.
