Ninfield School sports day

SPORTY children from Ninfield School enjoyed a fun-packed sports day in the sunshine.

Pupils from Reception to Year Six took part in their four houses - Ashby, Ridel, Fairal and Brassey. Events included traditional running races, obstacle races, bean bag balancing and a house relay, with pupils from Ashby house triumphing on the day.

There was a chance for parents to get involved too, with the dads spacehopper and skipping race and mums spacehopper race.

Grandparents took part in a dribbling the ball round a cone competition, and organisers thanked the sporty seniors for not cheating this year!

Cakes and refreshments were sold on the day, raising 126 for school funds.
