Noel the cat needs a home for Christmas

THERE'S no chance this lucky cat will be lonely this Christmas but what would make it really purrfect is to find his owners.

"N'el" is hoping that if he sits under the tree long enough he could be gift wrapped and with some help from Santa be presented back home.

The affectionate cat is being fostered by Shirley Vitler and Mike Richards after dragging himself into her garden on Monday evening last week.

They believed he had been hit by a car, confirmed by a visit to Stephen White vets who put the cat on a course of antibiotics.

He has been lapping up the attention and is now well on the road to recovery.

Unfortunately, he did not have a collar nor had he been microchipped and although inquires were made with neighbours at the Sidley end of London Road where he was found, no-one has come forward to claim him.

"N'el" has been registered with the lost and found directory at Barby Keel's and also Catcall but if you know where he belongs please ring Shirley on 212051 so he can be home for Christmas.
