Bus Service: Northiam Parish Council, along with Beckley & Peasmarsh, is contributing towards the cost of the 9.05 morning bus service, which East Sussex County Council will not financially support. The service has had the timings adjusted to tie in with other bus & train services. However, it is currently costing £3,790 for all three parishes, and NPC wish to ascertain if £1,265 is considered good value for tax payers. Apparently there are not a lot of passengers from Northiam at that time of the morning although we are advised the bus does increase its passenger load as it progresses through the other villages. Your council would be pleased to hear your views which can be sent by email to [email protected] , or snail mail to the Parish Office, Main Street, Northiam, TN31 6LP
