Northiam

Coffee: Take a break this morning, and support the Macmillan World’s Biggest Coffee Morning. Northiam’s contribution will be held in the Church Centre from 10am until 1pm, and you will be very welcome to call in, have a cuppa and a cake and make a donation to Macmillan Cancer Support.

If you’re not all caffeined-out, then the Village Hall monthly coffee morning runs from 9.30-11.30am, and Bubbysue will be selling cold meats, joints, cheese and preserves.

Badminton: We are fortunate to have a superb facility in the Pretious Sports Hall providing two badminton courts. A thriving junior club is run by Pete Thomson (07815 84517), with three graded sessions on a Friday evening, starting at 5.30pm. This is followed by the adult club at 8.15pm, which is run as a drop-in session, contact Karen Ayling (01797 253375). A further drop-in club is run by Sue Clark (016797 253428) on a Monday for one hour from 5.45pm. New members or visitors are welcome at both adult clubs which welcome all levels of player (that’s the advantage of two courts). The junior club operates a grading system to put you into the right group.

My apologies for walkers for putting this instead of the Winchelsea walk on 16th, my brain is fuddled from not getting enough fresh air, unlike you healthy outdoor types!!
