I hope you have been studying the schedule for the Horticultural Society’s Spring Show, which will be on Saturday 29th March. Although it has been appallingly wet, it has been warm, and the spring flowers are blooming bright and cheerful. Do have a look and see what you would like to do – it’s relatively painless and gives a great sense of achievement!

New exhibitors are always very welcome, and don’t believe stuff you may have seen on the telly, our Society isn’t at all cut-throat! Indeed, other exhibitors are very likely to lend you a hand, especially if you are a bit disorganised like me, and turn up without something crucial! If you would like to talk it through before turning up, please call Alison (252525) or Averil (252486) who will be pleased to encourage you!

If you haven’t been along, it’s not just growing exhibits, you can bake, photograph, sew, paint etc!
