If the sunshine has made you think you ought to get into shape for summer – why not give the badminton club a try to get you fit? It’s a game which most people find they can join in, and then you get better with practice! The club meets on a Friday evening between 8-10pm at a cost of £3. Racquets, shuttlecocks and partners are provided, and the more experienced players are always happy to give advice. Just turn up at the Pretious Sports Hall. If you prefer an early evening session, there is another club which meets for an hour on Mondays at 5.45pm. Again, you are invited to turn up and say hello.

There will be a Craft Fair in the Village Hall on Saturday -10am to 2pm. There is a range of quality stalls offering handmade soap, fudge, paintings, cards, candles, cake, jewellery etc, so well worth a visit. Buy a cup of tea and a cake and support our new Bonfire Society!
