Observer launches directory to help consumers and businesses

The Find it platform is powered by Qype, Europe’s largest user generated local review website.

Local businesses can claim a free advertising listing on Find It, with the option of taking a premium listing available for those wishing to achieve greater visibility.

Premium listings enable local businesses to publicise more in-depth information about their services and enable them to stand out from the competition.

Through the reviews, ratings and recommendations of other customers, Find it also provides a unique guide for anyone looking for a new local service, whatever the type of business, whether it be local plumbers, restaurants, florists or taxi firms.

The Find it launch is being supported by a local advertising campaign spanning print, online display advertising and paid online search.

Featuring the strap line ‘Your Paper, Your Local Directory’, the campaign emphasises the value local ratings and reviews bring in helping consumers find and select a trusted business or service.
