Officer stabbed
A man accused of stabbing a police officer in the hand will appear before Chichester Crown Court on March 17 to be sentenced.
Lee Thompson (37), of Albert Road, Bognor Regis appeared before the court on Monday charged with assault, resisting arrest and possession of an offensive weapon.
He is alleged to have injured a policeman who attended a 999 call in Steyne Street on January 3, 2008.
Thompson was granted conditional bail at this week's hearing and the case adjourned for reports.
