Do you have an old chair in need of imaginative restoration?

Lewes Railway Land Wildlife Trust is inviting local people to upcycle chairs and put them on display as part of Treasure from Trash, a forthcoming exhibition of creative upcycling from around the globe.

The exhibition will be held at the Linklater Pavilion in Lewes from July 6 until August 31.

It will showcase hundreds of upcycled objects from every continent – from household implements and furnishings, to handbags and adornment, as well as toys, tools and musical instruments.

The objects come from the unique ‘knowtrash’ collection, curated by Lewes residents Ruth and Neil Thomson.
