Old girl is 102

"ONCE a Davison girl, always a Davison girl" '“ this is a saying one 102-year-old Worthing resident will definitely agree with.

Students in form eight pink showed their ability to care for others when they delivered a harvest box to Ivy Shepherd, a former Davison High School pupil who lives in Victoria Road.

Ivy was delighted with her treats and also a copy of the magazine, Harvest Book of Fun, which the girls produced.

Girls in all classes had filled their classrooms with goodies in preparation for the harvest celebration. Miss Laura Christie, teacher for eight pink form and also an ex-Davison girl, said: "My classroom was filled with so much we could have started a shop.

"They have been a fantastic form.

"In just three weeks, they have all pulled together and helped each other, really showing giving to the community and charity is part of being a Davison girl."

This is not the only way the girls have helped people.

They have raised money by selling bulbs to help children in Romania.

On October 14, girls have been invited to attend a National Giving Week celebration at Downing Street, London.
