On location for Hollywood thriller
This was the scene in Rye and Winchelsea on Wednesday afternoon where film crew were hard at work creating sets for the war-time thriller Monuments Men.
The film is directed by George Clooney, who also stars alongside Matt Damon, Cate Blanchett, John Goodman and Bill Murray.
Filming has been taking place at the New Inn, Winchelsea, which had its interior converted into a 1940’s pub.
A crashed German plane appeared on Camber Sands and Strand Quay and the Strand at Rye were being used as locations.
