Plays, walks and gardens are just some of the ideas being aired by the new Arun Valley Rail Community Partnership.Headed by Mike Franklin, the group wants to put communities at the heart of the area's railway.

Four members gathered at Amberley Station last week to launch the group which is looking for lots of input from residents and organisations.

The scheme is supported by Action in Rural Sussex and Les Ampstead believes the railway has a lot of benefits to offer.
