One lane on A27 closed after lorry tyre blowout

Debris across the A27 has caused travel delays this afternoon (June 22).

The Sussex West Road Policing Unit was called around 3pm following reports of a lorry tyre blowout on the A27 eastbound, Fishbourne.

There is debris across both carriageways.

One lane is now closed eastbound on the A27 between the Fishbourne roundabout and the Stockbridge roundabout. The lorry is awaiting recovery and traffic is moving slowly.
