One man wins two first places in photographic society competitions in Seaford

Seaford Photographic Society held two competitions for projected digital images on January 9.

The first competition was Transport and the winner Graham Huntley with ‘Break! Break! Break!’ featuring the Red Arrows in formation.

Second place went to Deidre Daines with ‘Dream Voyage’ and third place was awarded to Tim King with ‘RIP DC3’.

The other competition was for ‘Abstract Images.’ Again Graham Huntley took the first place with ‘Synapse,’ runner-up was Steven Wares with ‘Travertine Flow’ and third place was awarded to Cathryn Mantovani with ‘Into the unknown’.

The judge was Graham Smith ARPS, a judge well-known on the southern photographic circuit, who gave a lot of helpful comments over both competitions.

The winners were presented with certificates and Graham Huntley will collect the trophies at the Annual General Meeting and presentation evening on June 12.
