One person cut from damaged car after crash in Storrington

A person was taken to hospital after a car crash in Storrington this afternoon.

A West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service representative said that at 2.55pm they were called to a crash involving two vehicles in Spierbridge Road.

Fire crews used hydraulic cutting gear to release them from the wreckage, and they were taken to hospital.

Fire engines from Storrington and Worthing, as well as a heavy rescue tender from Worthing, were involved.
