Open air Shakespeare for all the family

True to Shakespeare’s style, Twelfth Night, or What You Will, is a riotous comedy that centres on mistaken identity.

Anne Hughes is directing the performance and she said the opening line, ‘if music be the food of love play on’, says it all, adding: “All the best ingredients are here in one of Shakespeare’s finest comedies. It’s a story of lovers, shipwreck, trickery, misunderstandings, twins, foolishness, duels, and so on!

“Of course everything is sorted by the time the curtain comes down, so come along and join us, and enjoy the performance in Bexhill’s lovely Manor Gardens.”

The audience is invited to take a picnic to enjoy before the show and are advised to take warm clothing. Tea and coffee will be available during the interval.

Tickets are now available at Destinations, Sackville Road, and cost: Adults £10, under 18s £7, parties of 10 or more receive one free ticket.
