Suzanne expressed grateful thanks on behalf of St Michael's Hospice to all those who kindly opened their gardens to the public and for the support from all those who had attended.

Suzanne said: "The hospice is really grateful to the garden owners for kindly opening their gardens."

"We are absolutely thrilled with the amount raised as the hospice desperately needs funds at the moment. It was a beautiful day so everyone flocked to the seaside and to have raised 5,195 is a fantastic result."

St Michaels Hospice provides specialist palliative care to the people of Hastings and Rother.
