Open invite to charity’s walk along seafront

A CHARITY is celebrating its 100th anniversary next Friday with a themed walk along Worthing seafront followed by a picnic, and they want everybody to join them.

Sussex charity, the Grace Eyre Foundation, support adults with learning disabilities.

Lucy Moore, fundraising assistant said: “We’ve chosen Worthing because it’s half way between Brighton and Chichester and we want it to be accessible for everyone.

“It should be good fun.”

There will be more than 100 people dressed in outfits from eras between 1913 and the current day.

The charity are not asking for any money but said people can contribute if they like.

The walk starts at the Denton Gardens at 11am, Friday, September 6, and the route is wheelchair friendly.

There will be art, activities and cake after the walk.
