A clear choice
The town’s residents have a clear choice: either it’s a yes to £40m Bognor Regis regeneration, or no and a decade of economic malaise.
Hugh Coster, vice-chairman of the Bognor Regis Civic Society, is shouting from the rooftops the local community should reject this investment, but his society has a tiny number of members.

Is Civic a democratic society or a self-appointed cabal?
If Mr Coster is successful in getting St Modwen to walk away from this investment then he will be guilty of the worst kind of crime of condemning the town and its young people to a decade of economic malaise.
Back in the late 1960s/ early 1970s Bognor Regis Urban Council made a similar decision to reject regeneration – let’s not make the same mistake again.
I appeal to all the hard-working silent majority to rise up and protect the area’s economic future and give their views.
