Absurdly bulky
I am sure cost considerations were in the forefront of your decision to abandon the Observer's former broadsheet format, but I think the new tabloid format is absurdly bulky.
It is hard to locate topics of interest, since there is no index and, apart from the property section, everything is amassed together in a single fold.
Please consider ways of providing separate sections, in pull-out form or in a magazine (as with your former excellent theatre, concert and art reviews).
I would argue for countryside topics, sport and motoring to be separated in this way.
Without such improvements, I shall read the West Sussex Gazette instead!
