Anthem is outdated
SO BOGNOR MP Nick Gibb laments the fact that schoolkids don't appear to know the words to the national anthem.
As he ponders why, and blames schools for not instilling sufficient national vigour, he might like to consider the fact that rather than being any inspiring celebration of what’s best about the country, we are stuck with an outdated, dreary dirge about one particular individual.
