Any staff concerns?
　AS THE Independent councillor who raised questions about £50m spent on consultants' fees over just five years and raised further questions about redundancy payments for senior officers employed by West Sussex County Council, I would be pleased to receive any emails about staff concerns.
I promise to treat these in the strictest confidence but such comments will help inform me as I once again sit on the county’s policy and resources select committee and at council meetings as an Independent councillor. The public clearly has a right to know how such payments are arrived at but unfortunately the council chooses to clothe its deliberations under a curtain of secrecy as confirmed by the leader Louise Goldsmith when ‘facing’ my questions at the last full council meeting.
