Clarke family history sought for 70th birthday family tree

MY NAME is Karen Cresswell and I live in Doncaster, South Yorkshire.

I am trying to do a family tree for my father, who will be 70 in May this year.

His father died in 1942 and his mother quickly remarried and separated him from his father's family.

I have managed to trace his grandfather, Robert H. Clarke and his great uncle Albert E. Clarke.

Robert was born 1881 in Havant and Albert in 1877. also in Havant.

In the 1911 census. both men were living in Worthing.

Albert was married to Emily (possibly ne Cleave) and had two children, Charles Edwin Walter, aged 10, and Evelyn Mary, aged about three.

The family was living at 9 Selbourne Terrace, Lyndhurst Road, Worthing, and Albert was a jobbing gardener. Robert was lodging with a couple called Thomas and Nellie Parkinson.

I would love to hear from any descendants of either Clarke men.

Robert may have children by a second wife, so they would be half siblings to my grandfather Thomas, Robert's son with his wife Florence.

It would be nice to fill in the gaps that my Dad had missed not having the paternal connection with his dad Thomas's family.

I hope someone may have the information I miss to close the gap and give me the chance to give my Dad history and a full tree for his 70th birthday - better late than not at all.
