999 time wasting is not acceptable
IT'S been alleged that a number of people have been involved in hoax calls to the emergency services.
999 workers - ambulance crews, firefighters and police officers (and don’t forget the coastguards) - all work extremely hard to safeguard the public as a whole.
These people do not deserve to be treated in this manner, especially as any prank could lead to emergency workers being unable to attend a real crisis where lives are truly at risk.
