Bodiam Village Voice

The Amicus Horizon Neighbourhood Inspection of Levetts Lane took place on March 18 and was carried out by Housing Officer Marie Lapierre.

It was good to see the letter about untidy gardens, but when will Amicus Horizon do the new gate next to 1 Levetts Lane that is still outstanding after many months.

The next estate inspection is to take place by the Old Police Station on June 19. Please tell me Amicus Horizon, where is the Old Police Station? I was born in Bodiam and for the life of me I do not know. Please help me.

Bouquets went to Tracey Dixon for hospitality and Karen Dixon for scoring.

A very good Parish Assembly was held in Bodiam Church of England Primary School. There were good refreshments and we had good reports from all.

There were jokes from our vicar Gordon - he will soon have his own show in Staplecross Village Hall and tell jokes.

There was a joke from Demi, our PCSO.

The cost of food is to be paid for by the parish council.

The chairman sent in a report about responsible dog ownership and how we could do with more in the village. Some owners haven’t been clearing up after their dogs. Dog owners will say ‘I love my dear little dog’ but perhaps dog owners must love the countryside as well and clear up after their dogs.

It does not give a very good impression of Bodiam.
