CHIPPER: Everything I love about the summer!

Last week, my teacher allowed Kolin the koala and I to go outside on to the school field during geography to pick some flowers.

Colin is very greedy and was warned not to eat any of them. Because it’s the middle of summer, there were so many different colours of flowers, like purple, pink, green, red, and blue!

My favourite colour of flower is purple and Colin’s favourite is green, like him!

What’s your favourite colour of flower?

Tomorrow is sports day and mum and dad are very excited to come and watch me compete in the egg and spoon race.

I’m racing against Colin the cobra and Milly the monkey. It’s always excellent fun – however, last year Colin ate his egg before the race had started.

Hopefully he doesn’t do it again!

I’m continuing to play football in the park with dad, which I really enjoy.

It’s fun and it helps me to keep active and healthy, as well as preparing me for the egg and spoon race!

I love summer, because the days are much longer than they are in winter.

That means me and dad can play football for longer, and I can pick flowers at home in the evening with mum.
