Even though I like school and being able to see my friends every day, I’m still excited about the holidays. I’m just hoping the weather is lovely and sunny.
Even if it’s not I’ll be able to enjoy Easter. Dogs can’t have chocolate, which means no Easter eggs, but that’s okay; I love hot cross buns.
I’m going to go and have some Easter fun with a trip to Drusillas – I love it there, and if I’m lucky, I’ll get to hold a snake. I like creepy crawlies including snakes and spiders.
Do you, Chipsters?
If you get bored during the holidays, how about drawing me a picture of your favourite minibeasts, or a slithery snake? It doesn’t have to be a bug though... why not draw your pet cat, or a pretty butterfly?
Then I can print some of the best ones on this page.
Speaking of butterflies, during the holidays I’m going to ask my mum and dad if I can go to see the butterflies at Earnley.
I can see even more amazing animals there! They’ve got iguanas and tortoises, plus there are cuddlier creatures like guinea pigs and rabbits. And there are two miniature donkeys called Hector and Harvey. I’m going to try and make friends with them!
I will have some homework to do but Mum says the best thing is to get it over and done with at the start of the holidays – then I can just relax and have fun.
So that’s what I am going to try to do. There is so much to do, and so little time to do it all in!
So happy Easter holidays, Chipsters! Let me know what exciting adventures you all get up to.
Chip, chip for now!
