Fantastic feedback from public

The feedback is usually wonderful, but occasionally issues are raised that we add to an action plan to help us improve.

Our services need to evolve to continually meet the changing needs of the children we care for and their ever-increasing complexity of conditions.

We had some fantastic feedback. The community nurses received very positive comments about their key working roles, in which they help families in their own homes.

We were also commended by other members of the families, including brothers and sisters and grandparents, for the support we show them individually and as a whole family.

The increase in opportunities for going out and about while staying at Chestnut Tree House was something families commented on. Children love staying at the House but they also love going on little trips up the lane nearby, or visiting a local attraction.

Some of the young people we care for said how much they like the Youth Group and said that they have made new friends because of it, which is really lovely to hear.

We also had some wonderful feedback about our catering – especially about the Sunday roasts cooked up by our talented team!
