It is just great to be back at school!

IT’S that time of year again! The rotten ‘back to school’ day. Mum says that this means the Christmas holidays have come and gone in the blink of an eye.

All of the resting and relaxing has come to an end.

Don’t get me wrong, Chipsters – I do enjoy school, as I get to be with my friends everyday who I am very lucky to have.

But, going back to school means I have to leave all my new presents at home until I finish at 3pm.

They’ll be sitting there with no one to play with them.

Coming back after the new year I had set myself a resolution to do more exercise, so I was hoping my teacher would say that we could play football in PE.

And, Chipsters, he let us and it was a great game.

I like PE as I can get all of my energy out. We all had so much fun, running around the field and slipping on the muddy grass.

My team even went on to win the match and I was really proud because I even managed to score a few goals myself.

It’s all thanks to the practice I get kicking a ball around in the park.

One day I’ll be as good as my favourite footballer David Beckham.

Mum says if I do well in school then I can do anything I put my mind to, if I try hard enough. How cool is that, Chipsters?

So after all the fuss of not wanting to go back, I had a really good first week.

I hope you had a fun week being back at school. Chipsters what do you like most about school?

Is it the subjects? The teachers? Your friends? Or maybe something else? Let me know.
