WOMEN'S World Day of Prayer? What's that all about?

It is global, ecumenical prayer and prayerful action, led by Christian women on the first Friday in March annually.

This year the Christian women of Guyana have prepared a service. Guyana becomes the focus of the world's prayers next Friday.

Prayer begins as dawn breaks over Tonga in the Pacific and continues across each continent until the last services of this special day are held in Samoa, circling the world in prayer from one side of the international date line to the other.

In Bexhill a service takes place at St Mark's, Little Common, at 10.30am on Friday, March 7.

All are most welcome - young and old - and even men!

Refreshments in the hall afterwards.
