KELLY BROWN: Why can't I just eat a small bit of chocolate?
Okay, yes I know there are worst things in the world I could have done.
But this offending bar of chocolate has been in my possession for about two months and I have never once felt the urge to open it.

(Yes, it is a rubbish excuse to eat chocolate but I’m using it!)
Anyway, one thing led to another and all of a sudden I have realised the packet is empty - as though pesky elves and fairies have swooped in without my noticing and stolen it all.
But alas, I really only have myself to blame for opening the packet in the first place.

Let’s face it – that was never going to happen was it despite my best intentions!
I’m just so annoyed at myself that I obviously do have some form of will power which stopped me opening it in the first place.
To be fair, I never really buy chocolate or sweets from the shops to keep in the house and as a result my children never ask for them at home. Sweets are a treat when we are out!

But this self control goes out the window when other people buy me chocolate as a present - the offending bar included.
I ignore and can store away this kind gift for ages, but then one day this happens and I have all the self control of a small child standing next to a chocolate cake. In short - none!
The empty packet just keeps looking at me so I suppose I has better man up, pop it in the bin and use the extra calories as an excuse to do a little bit more exercise later on.

But probably not!
