Exciting times head for Rye with the announcement that the town is to lead the way in Sussex with the new Government backed Studio Schools.

It will mean a brand new school and the choice for local youngsters to complete their post-16 education in Rye rather than having to travel to Hastings or Bexhill.

The entertainments industry, which includes areas of expertise such as sound, lighting and digital imagery, is one sector that is still flourishing and growing and offers well paid jobs.
