A coffee morning takes place on March 14 from 10.30am - noon at the home of Mrs Rosemary Palmer, Ringle Oast, Sandhurst, Rye Road, in aid of St Nicholas Church Flower Fund. There will be a raffle and a bring and buy stall.

The Kerry Beacon in Church Field was lit on February 19 to mark the birthday of Tony Kerry.

A Quiz Night in aid of Hospice in the Weald takes place at th Old School Hall, Back Road, at 7.30pm on Saturday March 2. The cost is £8 a head for teams of up to eight and includes a ploughman’s lunch.
