The civic amenities refuse lorry will be in the village on Saturday at Lomas Lane from 8am - 8.25am; Ringle Greeen from 8.30am - 9am; Back Road from 9.05am - 9.35am;

Tanyard from 9.40am - 10.20am and Sandhurst Close from 10.25am - 11am.

The Easter services are One Hour By the Cross on Good Friday at 10am and Easter Sunday with Holy Communion at 8am and a service at 11.15am., all at St Nicholas Church.

Evening Prayer takes place at the Mission Church on Sunday at 5.30pm.

Many thanks to Bob the church warden who, with the help of Brian and Sharon, has planted more than 1,000 hedging whips around the church field and the car park. In a couple of years time it will look wonderful and be a great reserve for wildlife.

The first grass cut of the year has been made and the grassed areas in the village are looking good. This is about six weeks earlier than the first cut was made last year.
