School will redefineeducation landscape

The Studio School will be the first of its kind in the South East and is already attracting attention from across the globe.

Speaking to principal designate Jo Townshend this week it is impossible not to get caught up in the infectious enthusiasm for the new school.

Jo sees the whole of Rye as a potential classroom for students and is lining up an impressive array of industry professionals who are keen to share their skills and knowledge.

This will be a very different school experience for those starting - the hours run from 8.30am - 5pm - reflecting a normal working day and the aim will be to equip students for the industry with workplace experience in exciting locations, which include London based lifestyle magazines. They will also be working with cutting edge and industry standard technology.

Jo’s vision and enthusiasm is boundless and we are absolutely certain she is the right person to take this exciting new school forward.
