ST BARNABAS: '˜Outstanding' rating is a tremendous achievement

This is a tremendous achievement as, at present, only one per cent of the inspections across all adult social care services have achieved this rating.

This is a truly wonderful result for the hospice, our staff, our volunteers and of course our local community.

This is very much a team effort and the results highlight the quality of our care, the quality of our staff and management and the quality of our organisation as a whole.

As I look around the hospice, and hear people speak about their experiences here, I am always so proud to be a part of such an important part of our community.

This result is all about the people who make St Barnabas House what it is and I would like to thank all our staff and volunteers who work so hard and are dedicated to providing the very best care, both in the hospice and at patients’ own homes.
