The Snowman Spectacular Ball

At Chestnut Tree we endeavour to make Christmas a truly special time for all the children and families we are caring for over the festive period, whether they are staying in their own homes or at the hospice itself.

In order to provide this care and support we have to raise £6,850 each and every day of the whole year. One of the key fundraising events in our calendar is our Snowman Spectacular Fundraising Ball. Now in its 8th year, this prestigious event in Brighton at the Hilton Metropole is a celebration of all that we do and a chance for our supporters to show their commitment to the hospice and let their hair down at the same time.

This year our guests enjoyed an exciting evening of music, dining and dancing to The Overtones, with raffles and auctions throughout the evening. We also heard from one of our Chestnut Tree mums, Helen Cookson and her moving story of the loss of her daughters Rebecca and Rachel. I am absolutely thrilled to be able to tell you the Ball was an amazing success, raising £455,011 on the night, enough to pay for an incredible 66 days of care both in the Community and at the hospice.
