Using your own car, you will offer door-to-door transport for those young carers who would otherwise be unable to access groups and other activities.

The transport service offers freedom and independence to young people who may be socially and geographically isolated, to help build their self-esteem, self-confidence, and support networks.

You will be expected to volunteer for approximately three hours, or one evening, per week during school term time and you will need access to a car and car insurance that covers the use of the vehicle in the volunteering role.

Help running IT club – Angmering Community Centre Association

Angmering Community Centre provide IT training for beginners at present and now want to offer the chance for those who have completed some training to continue using what they have learned in a club atmosphere – a silver surfer type group.

Ideas for activities they could be given to improve their keyboard skills and understanding of the laptop would be useful, as would ideas on how they can use the internet – shopping, banking, their interests, finding information and so on.

People with knowledge of smart phones/tablets would be very helpful.
