Skills such as business or personnel management, finance, fundraising and IT would be welcomed.

Hosts are volunteers who would like to provide afternoon tea, sandwiches and cakes for up to ten lonely elderly people.

The meetings take place in the host’s own home on the third Sunday of each month, from 3pm to 5pm.

While meetings take place monthly, it is unlikely that the volunteer host would be asked to hold a meeting more than once a year.

You will need a good heart, a large tea pot, space for ten guests in a ground floor room and a downstairs toilet.
