Don't you dare bring this bin fine to Worthing

I WOULD like to congratulate the Worthing public regarding your on-line vote about imposing fines for overfilled bins.

A massive 94 per cent were against these draconian fines, which gives a loud message and warning to Worthing Council that the public won't accept bully boy tactics.

Worthing Council states that it deals with over-filled bins by a softly-softly approach, but give it a few years and the council might change its mind and bring in the same big brother tactics that a lot of councils have enforced.

I hope the council takes note of the massive vote against these fines and in future years, continues its softy-softly approach, otherwise they may have more than they bargained for on their hands if they bring in this unjust fine/tax against the wishes of the public.
