Enhancing an ombre pout

I'm not usually a nude lip fan, but the satin matte finish of "Born" looks great.

I'm not usually a nude lip fan, but after a fabulous tooth polish the satin matte finish of "Born" looks great - whether I am heavily made-up or not.

It delivers "an intense pay-off from the initial stroke" and feels sophisticated and long-lasting (£19.50). I've worn it day and night all week, as it also enhances an ombre pout with darker outline colours. The new Illamasqua "Dusk" collection is aimed at Middle Eastern women and smoky eyes are integral.

I paired the Born lip with another limited edition called "Cherish", a £22 powder blush in warm goldish apricot. Build your silhouette up - from nought to Kashardian - with a perfectly-weighted Illamasqua Contour brush (£29.50).

Another golden delight is L'Or Bio by Melvita, sourced from five continents; the hero product, L'Or Bio Extraordinary Oil, is a best-seller. This oil nourishes, beautiï¬es, and protects your hair and skin. The intense scent is not for faint hearts - you'll either love it or not. Jane Cunningham, the British Beauty Blogger, said; "It's a beautiful combination of skin-loving oils, from Argan through to Inca Inchi and the minute it's on your skin, any tightness or dryness is gone. It smells a bit holidayish - a blend of bergamot, lemon, orange, jasmine, fig and vanilla.'

Pracaxi oil from Amazonia is rich in behenic acid and protects the hair from humidity, controlling volume shine and resilience. Kendi oil comes from Indonesia and has a high concentration of Omega 3 and 6 to give the skin an ultra-soft, velvety feel. Inca Inchi oil from Peru has softening and nourishing oil to strengthen the skin's barrier function and helps to maintain optimal moisture levels. Buriti oil from Brazil is rich in betacarotene, antioxidants, and oleic acid for skin elasticity, suppleness and a healthy glow. Argan oil from Morocco is rich in fatty acids and sterols to regenerate and protect the skin and hair.

Extraordinary Oil has a dry feel and sinks in quickly (£29 for 100ml) and is very versatile. Decant some to travel with for body moisturiser, or to spray in the bath for an indulgent soak. Blend a drop into your face cream for added richness or smooth over hair to control frizz, or use as a leave-in conditioner.

However you use it, the exotic scent will underscore lingering summer memories.
