Football photo drew attention

With regard to the photograph of the footballers on the back page of last week's Observer, it would appear the Hastings player is being tackled as on a rugby pitch. So much for no bodily contact.

My second observation is to my mind more serious.

The grass verges of the town are being used for political advertising. I thought that this was against the law when any vote is in the offing.
