Ground to a halt

THE A259 has been terrible for the last couple of months, ever since West Sussex County Council started tinkering with the white lines.

As for reducing the limit to 30mph at Brooklands, the limit is 50 on narrow, winding roads.

Does the council not know that slow-moving cars cause more pollution?

Compared with other parts of the country we do not have so many accidents.

Cyclists have a nice, new cycle lane, which probably cost thousands of pounds, but a lot of cyclists prefer to mix it with cars on the road.

Well done, West Sussex, you have done a grand job grinding the town to a halt.
