What will be your rule of life in 2025? Moses gave us the Ten Commandments as God ‘s law of love and the guiding hand of a loving heavenly Father.

Love is restricted (have no other gods). Love is restrained (make no graven images). Love is reverent (no taking of God’s name in vain). Love is refreshed (take a day off in seven).

Love respects parents (honour your father and mother), life (do not murder), marriage (do not commit adultery), property (do not steal), and reputation (do not speak falsely about others).

And love is content (do not envy others for what they have). But we break these rules so God sets up forgiveness through Christ, who is also the example of obedience.

This year, let’s keep close to him.
