Keep smiling - it will get better

Already there has been a glut of job vacancies.

The PM has quit, the Labour leader could be ousted and Nigel Farage has retired in a blaze of glory.

No connection of course, but the England manager is off to pastures new as well.

More seriously, my husband of nearly 60 years has been giving me some odd looks lately, and I feel a nubile 65 year old replacement might be in the offing. All I’d say to her is ‘he’s got some funny habits dear!’.

My message to the remainers is ‘keep smiling’ - it really is going to get better.
