Less bays, more hassle

IS the council trying to abolish disabled parking bays?

It seems to me every time they "improve the road infrastructure for traffic calming measures" more disabled parking bays disappear, thus forcing blue badge holders to spend half the day driving around looking for spaces.

My gripe is they do not replace or add bays to other suitable locations for blue badge holders to access the town and facilities.

Here's an idea, make the Shopmobility car park disabled parking only throughout.

Not only is it central to all amenities ,but guess what, there's even a place to hire mobility scooters.

Come on councillors and you pen-pushers at the highways department: get up off your brains and use them!.
