LETTER: BID will help business thrive

Should Hastings Town Centre Management, with Hastings Borough Council, success in the effort to turn Hastings into a Business Improvement District, the additional services that would become available will help businesses around the town centre to survive and thrive in an improved commercial environment.

In East Sussex, Hastings is leading the way to become a BID.

Potentially, the effect could increase business confidence beyond the BID catchment area, which may see some of the vacant retail premises being taken up.
