LETTER: Money should be invested in NHS

Apparently, the NHS cannot perform as they would like due to lack of funding.

We are now hearing that alleged plans are being put into place to close hospitals.

This proposal can easily be avoided by cutting the amount of money being sent abroad, to apparently not relieve poverty but to subsidise, for example, the space research programme in India. Also stop the bombing programme in Iraq.

Vast amounts of money is being wasted on these two items, money that could be invested in the NHS to make it once again the finest in the world.

So come on you politicians, get real and start working for the benefit of the people of the UK.
