LETTER: Recalling Dr Bodkin Adams

Last night I saw a film entitled '˜The Good Doctor Bodkin Adams' at the Eastbourne Underground Theatre, starring Timothy West. I recommend it. It showed all the sights of Eastbourne, including the pier. The doctor ate violet creams, which made me envious because they are so expensive (perhaps not in the 1950s). It was a free showing. Come to the free pop groups/bands on Saturday mornings in the UGT to find out more. I am hoping they will bring back Bertie Boater, an admired 1920s/30s music group.
